Abraham Valdelomar Pedro Pinto (Ica 27, April 1, 1888 - Ayacucho, November 3, 1919) was a storyteller, poet, journalist, essayist and playwright Peruvian. It is considered one of the main storytellers of Peru, along with Julio Ramón Ribeyro.


The lagoon of Huacachina is an oasis located five kilometers west of the city of Ica, Peru; is presented as a true natural oasis amidst the white sands of the coastal desert of Peru. Emerald-green color, arose due to upwelling and undercurrents around it is a rich composite of palms, eucalyptus (introduced species) and species of vegetation known as carob Huarango, which serves the rest of migratory birds pass through this region. All this contributes to making Huacachina one of the most spectacular and beautiful places of the Peruvian coast.
